I learned photography from Mary Ellen Mark and Jordan Matter, specialising in action and parades, avoiding formal posed shots. The camera lens seemed a logical step from the microscope, and living in Notting Hill has given me ample opportunity to hone these skills. I can use professional DSLR or mobile phone footage.
